Frequently asked questions

Is the Dell Latitude 5490 good for office work in 2026?

Yes. The 8th Gen quad-core i5 with 16GB RAM and an SSD handles Microsoft Office, browser multitasking, and video calls comfortably. It is the minimum generation officially supported by Windows 11, so you get full security updates — which is why we recommend 8th Gen as the budget floor.

Can I upgrade the RAM and SSD on the Latitude 5490?

Yes. The 5490 has accessible RAM slots and a standard 2.5″/M.2 drive bay, making upgrades simple and affordable. Many buyers start with this AED 559 configuration and add a larger SSD later if needed.

What is included in the box?

The refurbished Dell Latitude 5490 laptop, an original Dell 65W charger, licensed Windows 11 Pro pre-installed, and a written invoice with 12-month warranty terms. Delivery available across Dubai and Sharjah.
