HP EliteBook 850 G3 Touch Refurbished i5 6th Gen 16GB 512GB

HP EliteBook 850 G3 Refurbished — Overview

The HP EliteBook 850 G3 brings the EliteBook formula to a full-size 15.6″ Full HD touch display: a 6th-gen Intel Core i5-6200U, a roomy 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a fast 512GB SSD, all in HP’s slim aluminium business chassis with a backlit keyboard. This is the big-screen office machine for anyone who finds 14″ laptops cramped but doesn’t want to pay for a new business laptop.

Every unit is professionally refurbished at our Sharjah facility: fully tested, cleaned inside and out, SSD health-checked, touchscreen calibrated, and covered by our 12-month warranty. At AED 739, this refurbished EliteBook 850 G3 is AED 10 below techorigins.ae’s Dhs 749.99 for the same i5 / 16GB / 512GB / touch configuration — with a real written warranty and local after-sales support.

Who is the EliteBook 850 G3 for?

• Office professionals — 15.6″ of screen real estate for spreadsheets, documents, and split-screen multitasking, plus a full-size keyboard with number pad.
• Accountants and data entry — the dedicated number pad and large touch display make figures work faster and more comfortable.
• Students and home users — the touch screen makes Windows 10 Pro genuinely pleasant to navigate, and the slim aluminium body travels well.
• Budget business buyers — EliteBook build quality (magnesium-aluminium, MIL-STD tested) at a fraction of new — the classic refurbished value play.

Why the 850 G3 instead of an 840

Shoppers comparing the refurbished HP EliteBook 850 G3 Dubai price against our 840 G5 and 840 G6 often ask what the extra size buys them. The answer is the 15.6″ touch display and the full-size keyboard with number pad — for desk-based office work, accountants, and anyone over 40 who squints at 14″ screens, the difference is real. The i5-6200U with 16GB RAM is not a speed champion in 2026, but it is a perfectly competent budget 15.6″ business laptop: Office, browsers, video calls, and ERP software run smoothly, and the 512GB SSD keeps everything instant.

If you need 8th-gen speed, step up to our 840 G6. If you need a big touch screen at the lowest honest price, the 850 G3 at AED 10 below techorigins.ae is the one — with our Sharjah store and a written 12-month warranty behind it.

Refurbished condition and 12-month warranty

A refurbished HP EliteBook 850 G3 from Khaleej Electronics passes our 30-point inspection: display, touch digitizer and backlight, keyboard, trackpad, battery health, thermals, every port (including the USB-C and docking connector), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, speakers, and webcam. The 512GB SSD is health-checked, Windows 10 Pro is freshly installed and activated, and the machine is deep-cleaned inside and out.

Why buy from Khaleej Electronics

Courier-only sellers charge extra for warranty pickup and hide behind “lifetime warranty” fine print that covers only manufacturing defects. We do it differently: a clear 12-month warranty with no fine print, a real Sharjah store you can visit, and our team on WhatsApp at +971 506 757 156. Our refurbished price is AED 10 below techorigins.ae for the same touch-screen configuration — with local after-sales support included.

Frequently asked questions

Is the EliteBook 850 G3 good for office work in 2026?

Yes for typical office work: Word, Excel, browsers, video calls, and ERP software run smoothly on the i5-6200U with 16GB RAM. The 512GB SSD is the single biggest reason it feels fast. It is not a video-editing or CAD machine — for that, look at our ThinkPad P50 workstation.

What is the difference between the 850 G3 and the 840 G6?

The 850 G3 is the 15.6″ version with a touch screen and number pad; the 840 G6 is the 14″ version with a much faster 8th-gen i7. Choose the 850 G3 for big-screen comfort at a lower price, the 840 G6 for speed and portability.

Can the RAM and SSD be upgraded?

Yes. Two DDR4 SODIMM slots (up to 32GB) and a standard M.2 SATA SSD slot — both serviceable.

Does the touchscreen work with a stylus?

The capacitive touch screen works with a fingertip or any standard capacitive stylus. It is not an active-pen (Wacom/AES) digitizer.

What is included in the box?

You receive the refurbished HP EliteBook 850 G3, an original HP 65W slim adapter, a licensed Windows 10 Pro installation, and a written invoice with your 12-month warranty terms. Delivery is available across Dubai and Sharjah.
