Dell Latitude 3460 — i3 5th Gen/8GB/500GB 14″ HD (Refurbished)

Dell Latitude 3460 Refurbished — Overview

The Dell Latitude 3460 is the cheapest honest way into a real business laptop: a 5th-gen Intel Core i3-5005U, 8GB of RAM, 500GB of storage, and a 14 inch HD display in a tough Latitude chassis with a full keyboard and a numeric keypad. It is a simple, sturdy machine for simple, everyday work.

Every unit is professionally refurbished at our Sharjah facility: fully tested, cleaned inside and out, hard-drive health-checked, battery tested, and covered by our 12-month warranty. At AED 620.37, this refurbished Dell Latitude 3460 is AED 10 below fonezone.ae’s AED 630.37 for the same i3-5005U / 8GB / 500GB configuration, with a real written warranty and local after-sales support.

Let us be honest about what this laptop is

The Latitude 3460 is a 2015-era business laptop with a 5th Gen Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB of memory, and a 500GB hard drive. It is not a fast machine, and it does not have an SSD. It is the right laptop for documents, email, web browsing, online classes, and learning. It is not the right laptop for video editing, heavy multitasking, or modern games. If you need more speed for similar money, look at our Dell Latitude 5480 at AED 489, which has an SSD and a newer processor. If you want lots of storage, a big screen, and the lowest honest price, the 3460 is the right pick. Ask us on WhatsApp about an SSD upgrade if you want this same laptop to feel much faster.

Who is the Latitude 3460 for?

• Students on a tight budget — a full 14 inch screen, a proper keyboard with a number pad, and enough speed for assignments, research, and online classes.
• Home and family use — email, documents, video calls, YouTube, and light browsing on a machine built to survive daily handling.
• First-laptop buyers — a low price, a big 500GB of storage for files and photos, and a real warranty, so a first laptop is not a gamble.
• Small offices and shops — a dependable second machine for billing, stock lists, and email, with VGA and HDMI for any screen and Ethernet for a stable wired connection.

Key specifications

Why the 3460 over a cheaper used laptop

Most laptops near AED 620 in Dubai are old consumer machines with no warranty and no support. The 3460 is different: a business-grade Latitude with a tough chassis, a full keyboard with a number pad, and every port a home or small office needs, including VGA for older screens and Ethernet for a wired desk. It was a proper corporate laptop when new, and the refurbishment, a 30-point inspection, hard-drive health check and fresh Windows install, brings it back to reliable daily-driver condition for basic work.

Refurbished condition and 12-month warranty

A refurbished Dell Latitude 3460 from Khaleej Electronics passes our 30-point inspection: display and backlight, keyboard and number pad, trackpad, battery health, thermals, every port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, speakers, and webcam. The hard drive is health-checked, Windows 10 Pro is freshly installed and activated, and the machine is deep-cleaned inside and out.

You get a 12-month warranty covering parts and labour, a written invoice, and free diagnosis if anything ever goes wrong. We offer 10-day returns and deliver across Dubai and Sharjah, order on WhatsApp and pay on delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Dell Latitude 3460 good for students in 2026?
Yes, for basic student work. It handles Office, browsing, research, Zoom and online classes well. It is not the right laptop for video editing, heavy multitasking, or modern games.

Does it have an SSD?
No. This model has a 500GB hard drive, which gives lots of storage but is slower than an SSD. Ask us on WhatsApp about an SSD upgrade if you want faster boot and loading times.

Can the RAM and storage be upgraded later?
Yes. The 3460 has two SODIMM slots (up to 16GB) and a standard 2.5 inch drive bay, so both RAM and storage can be upgraded.

Does it run Windows 11?
The unit ships with licensed Windows 10 Pro. The 5th-gen platform is not on Microsoft’s official Windows 11 list, so we sell it as a Windows 10 Pro machine, fully supported and updated.

What is the battery life like?
Every battery is health-tested before sale. Expect a few hours of light use on a healthy unit. This is a budget machine, so battery life is modest.

What is your warranty and return policy?
12-month warranty covering parts and labour, and 10-day easy returns. Delivery across Dubai and Sharjah, cash on delivery available.
