Lenovo ThinkPad T460s Refurbished — Overview
The Lenovo ThinkPad T460s is the thin-and-light ThinkPad that business travellers actually carry: a 6th-gen Intel Core i5, 8GB of RAM, a fast 256GB SSD, and a sharp 14″ Full HD display in a chassis that weighs just 1.36 kg and is 19 mm thin. It is built to the same MIL-STD durability standard as every ThinkPad, with the legendary keyboard and TrackPoint, and it is the cheapest way into a genuinely premium ultrabook.
Every unit is professionally refurbished at our Sharjah facility: fully tested, cleaned inside and out, SSD health-checked, battery tested, and covered by our 12-month warranty. At AED 514.99, this refurbished ThinkPad T460s is AED 10 below techorigins.ae’s AED 524.99 for the same i5 6th Gen / 8GB / 256GB / 14″ FHD configuration — with a real written warranty and local after-sales support.
Who is the ThinkPad T460s for?
- Students and commuters — 1.36 kg in the bag, all-day battery with the dual-battery design, and a price that leaves money for books.
- Office professionals — the full ThinkPad keyboard, TrackPoint, fingerprint reader and docking support, in a laptop that looks right in any meeting room.
- Remote workers — FHD display, good webcam and mic, and enough speed for Office, browsers, Zoom and Teams all day.
- Budget ThinkPad buyers — the T460s is the entry point to the T-series: premium build, upgradeable RAM and SSD, at a sub-AED 550 price.

Why the T460s over a cheaper used laptop
Most sub-AED 550 laptops in Dubai are heavy plastic machines with dim screens and tired batteries. The T460s is different: a magnesium-and-carbon chassis, an IPS Full HD panel, a backlit keyboard, and a battery you can swap without tools. It was a AED 5,000+ business laptop when new, and the refurbishment — 30-point inspection, SSD health check, fresh Windows install — brings it back to reliable daily-driver condition.
Refurbished condition and 12-month warranty
A refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad T460s from Khaleej Electronics passes our 30-point inspection: display and backlight, keyboard and TrackPoint, trackpad, battery health, thermals, every port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, speakers, webcam, and fingerprint reader. The SSD is health-checked, Windows 10 Pro is freshly installed and activated, and the machine is deep-cleaned inside and out.
You get a 12-month warranty covering parts and labour, a written invoice, and free diagnosis if anything ever goes wrong. We offer 10-day returns and deliver across Dubai and Sharjah — order on WhatsApp and pay on delivery.
Why buy from Khaleej Electronics
- Best price in UAE: AED 514.99 for the T460s — AED 10 below techorigins.ae’s actual price for the identical configuration, not a made-up strikethrough.
- Tested in Sharjah: every unit stress-tested by our in-house technicians.
- 12-month warranty with local support — no shipping your laptop abroad for RMA.
- Free delivery across Dubai and Sharjah; cash on delivery available.
- Upgrade-friendly: RAM and SSD can be upgraded on request — ask us on WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions
Is the ThinkPad T460s good for students in 2026?
Yes. It is light (1.36 kg), has a sharp FHD screen, a great keyboard for typing assignments, and enough speed for Office, browsing, Zoom and research. The 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD cover normal student work comfortably.
Can the RAM and SSD be upgraded later?
Yes. The T460s has one SODIMM slot plus soldered memory, and a standard M.2 SSD slot. Ask us on WhatsApp and we can quote an upgrade.
Does it run Windows 11?
The unit ships with licensed Windows 10 Pro. The 6th-gen platform can run Windows 11, and we can advise on the upgrade path before you buy.
What is the battery life like?
Every battery is health-tested before sale, and the dual-battery design means you can carry a spare rear battery. Expect a full working day of light office use on a healthy unit.
What is your warranty and return policy?
12-month warranty covering parts and labour, and 10-day easy returns. Delivery across Dubai and Sharjah, cash on delivery available.
